Sterilization-Logbook
The legislator demands in the medical devices operator regulation (MPBetreibV) for the dressing of medical instruments that the success of the cleaning, disinfection or sterilization must be comprehensibly ensured.
The reprocessing of medical devices ends with the documented release for reuse or storage. The sterilization diary offers the possibility to document 250 individual batch releases on 50 pre-fabricated forms. In addition, the microbiological checks can be filed here, so that all relevant data for reprocessing are clearly available in a folder.
The sterilization logbook has its own form sheet to document the release authorizations. The annual hygiene instructions of the employees can also be entered here and thus documented.
The batch release includes:
- The verification of the sterilization program depending on the load
- Visual inspection after removal from the steam sterilizer
- Verification of the marking of the sterilization packaging according to DIN 58953-7:2003
- The evaluation of process parameters (display, printer, PC entry)
- The evaluation of the chemical indicator systems
- The personal release
