Description
With the Wash Sensor U, you can easily check the cleaning effectiveness in an ultrasonic bath. You receive a durable test body made of stainless steel and replaceable indicator plates, which can be reordered separately.
The synthetic test soil on the plate correlates with human blood and human tissue. Insufficient cleaning is reliably indicated, whether due to mechanical (insufficient ultrasonic energy) or chemical causes.
Wash Sensor Holder
You will receive a durable stainless steel holder from us, into which the indicator plates can be inserted. The holder, with the inserted indicator, is easily positioned over your ultrasonic transducer as described under “Application.” Our universal holder is suitable for both Wash Sensor U indicator plates and Wash Sensor WD indicator plates.

Application
The application of the Wash Sensor U is extremely straightforward:
- Simply insert the indicator disc sideways into the holder with the test soil facing forward/upward until it reaches the mark. Be careful not to touch the test soil.
- Place one Wash Sensor U with holder over each ultrasonic generator. Position the holder with the test soil facing upward so that the visible part of the indicator disc is above the ultrasonic generator.
- Run the ultrasonic cleaning program for 5 minutes.
Evaluation
After 5 minutes, remove the test from the ultrasonic bath and check the indicator discs for the removal of the test soil.
The complete removal of the test soil indicates a correct cleaning process.
